Ballon d’Or Awards: DAZN Announces Winners in London

The announced broadcast provides a platform for the unveiling. For the nominated players, the event also represents public recognition of their achievements. Their individual contributions will be assessed separately from those of the other nominees.

The announcement of the winners is planned as the central programming highlight of the Ballon d’Or ceremony. DAZN will broadcast the unveiling from London. The confirmed announcement does not cover how the stage will be designed or whether additional awards or Special Awards will be presented.

What Is Already Confirmed

Until the ceremony, it remains to be seen who will take the top spots in the 2026 Ballon d’Or. Ousmane Dembélé and Aitana Bonmatí were the most recent winners. The date and time of the successor decision, however, are set.

For fans, the broadcast provides direct access to the decision. The event begins early in the evening in the British capital, in local time. In the stated CET time zone, the start corresponds to 9:00 p.m.

The available information does not provide a complete list of candidates or a voting update. Any claims about who could succeed the current winners would therefore be unreliable. What is certain is that both awards will be presented in London on the same evening.

Outlook for the Evening

The broadcast begins after the announcement scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CET. Viewers will therefore be able to follow the unveiling live on DAZN. No additional broadcast times or further analyses are included in the confirmed information.

The London event marks the end of the period of uncertainty over the Ballon d’Or winners. The evening is dedicated to the official unveiling of the successors to Ousmane Dembélé and Aitana Bonmatí. The decision will be made as part of the announced DAZN broadcast.
