A 64-year-old driver threatened a 41-year-old dog owner with brass knuckles on Monday afternoon in Vienna-Döbling during a road dispute and was subsequently arrested.
The incident occurred on Monday in Vienna's 19th district, Döbling. According to current findings by the police, a 64-year-old driver and a 41-year-old dog owner got into an argument in the open street. During the course of the altercation, the driver allegedly pulled out brass knuckles and used them to intimidate the dog owner, as the Vienna State Police Directorate announced.
The police, who had been alerted, were able to stop and detain the 64-year-old at the scene. During the subsequent search of his vehicle, officers found additional prohibited weapons, according to the authorities. The officers also determined that the man was apparently under the influence of alcohol. The police initially did not provide more precise information regarding the level of his blood alcohol content or the type of weapons found.
