Austrian artist Cosmó is set to bring a wild, immersive celebration to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 stage with a performance featuring animal masks, black leather costumes, and a club-like atmosphere.
The Concept and Creative Team
Cosmó's performance, titled "Tanzschein," aims to transform the stage into a "wilde, immersive Feier" (wild, immersive celebration). The creative team, led by Dan Shipton and Ross Nicholson, has designed a show that channels raw, instinctive energy.
The performance concept revolves around releasing the "inner animal," with dancers embodying different creatures such as Gazelle, Löwin, Gorilla, and Nashorn. The team stated, "Wir nutzen mit unserer Inszenierung die rohe, instinktive Energie, die in jedem von uns steckt" ("We use our staging to harness the raw, instinctive energy within each of us").
