Berlin, 27 August 2026

The Berlin-based food delivery service Delivery Hero has raised its business targets for the current year after the company exceeded expectations across all key metrics in the latest quarter.

The group expressed greater optimism for the full year, citing growing gross merchandise volume – that is, the total value of orders processed through the platform. This metric is regarded in the industry as a key indicator of delivery services' business performance.

What the new targets mean

Jefferies analyst Giles Thorne described the quarterly figures as solid, noting that Delivery Hero had surpassed expectations on every metric. The acceleration in gross merchandise volume justifies the upward revision of business targets, Thorne wrote.
