The DFB Federal Court has rejected the administrative complaint filed by TSV 1860 Munich, thereby confirming in final instance the refusal of the 3. Liga license for the upcoming season.

The DFB Federal Court rejected the administrative complaint brought by the "Lions." This confirmed the decision to deny Munich admission to the 3. Liga for the upcoming season, despite the club having qualified on sporting merit. The ruling at DFB level is final; no further challenge within the association is possible.

Specifically affected is the operating company previously run jointly by the parent club and Hasan Ismaik. Investor Ismaik had failed to fulfill a financing commitment, which meant the club lacked the financial basis required for the 3. Liga. The complaint was intended to determine whether an alleged proof of finances from Ismaik could nevertheless have been accepted – the court ultimately did not recognize it.
