Dlauhy sets new ÖLV record over 400 m hurdles at National Championships in Innsbruck

Behind Dlauhy, Lena Pressler ran 54.55 seconds to finish second and also secured her ticket to the European Championships in Birmingham. In the technical disciplines for women, Sophie Kreiner took gold in the shot put with 14.59 m, Leonie Zoe Haller in the javelin with 50.85 m, Lisa Gruber in the pole vault with 4.00 m, and Isabel Posch in the long jump with 6.14 m. As a result, ÖLV athletes claimed numerous further titles in the Tyrolean capital.

Dlauhy's record run formed the sporting highlight of the title meet and underlines the strong condition of Austria's female hurdlers ahead of the upcoming continental championships. The improvement in the second half of the race showed that the athlete is reaching top form at just the right time.
