The drama 'In die Sonne schauen' by Mascha Schilinski dominated the German Film Awards in Berlin on Friday evening, taking home ten prizes including the Golden Lola for best feature film.

The ceremony, held at the Berlin Funkturm before approximately 1,900 invited guests, is considered Germany's most important film honor and has been awarded annually since 1951.

The Night's Big Winners

The political thriller 'Gelbe Briefe' by İlker Çatak received the Silver Lola, while the Bronze Lola went to 'Ach, diese Lücke, diese entsetzliche Lücke,' a tragicomedy based on a book adaptation.
