Until the facts are finally clarified, the presumption of innocence applies to both suspects. The investigators of the Josef-Heißl-Straße police station in Leoben continue to work on fully clarifying all leads and, where applicable, identifying additional accomplices or buyers.

For the affected industrial company, the incident means not only financial damage but also considerable damage to its reputation. The company had already filed a report in March after seven smartphones went missing and has since been working closely with the investigating authorities to trace the stolen goods.
