The Lower Austrian energy supplier EVN has increased its net profit in the 2025/26 fiscal year by 20.8 percent to EUR 525.1 million and has raised its revenue and earnings forecast for 2025/26.

Despite weak generation coefficients for wind and water in all core markets, the utility was able to slightly increase renewable electricity generation through capacity expansions. According to the financial results published on Thursday, eco-electricity production rose by 0.9 percent to a total of 1,805 gigawatt hours (GWh).
