Vienna, July 22, 2026
The former chief financial officer of Signa Prime and Signa Development, Manuel Pirolt, has filed an application at the Vienna Commercial Court for a payment plan with a repayment quota of 0.0142 percent and, subsidiarily, for the initiation of a three-year income attachment procedure (Abschöpfungsverfahren).
Background to the Bankruptcy Proceedings
As the Alpenländische Kreditorenverband (AKV) announced on Wednesday, the offered quota amounts to a total of 0.0142 percent, to be distributed to creditors in five annual installments. The offered quota thus corresponds to just under 180,000 euros.
The bankruptcy proceedings over the assets of the former Signa manager were opened on March 7, 2025, at the Vienna Commercial Court. According to the AKV, claims amounting to approximately 1.26 billion euros have been registered in these bankruptcy proceedings; however, a large portion of these claims is still contested or will be examined by the court without verification.
