The forest fire near Schramberg in the Rottweil district is ongoing. Police and fire crews say they remain vigilant and are closely monitoring the situation at the fire site. Authorities have been battling the flames for days, which have so far been difficult to bring under control in the region.

To support the firefighting operations, the Freiburg professional fire department has established a special water supply. The system draws water from the Schiltach and, according to the incident command, primarily supplies the critical flank in the direction of the residential area.
