AI demand has proven to be a central pillar of Foxconn's business in recent quarters. Servers and network components for data centers, which are needed for the training and operation of large AI models, now account for a growing share of revenue.

Foxconn in the Global AI Supply Chain

Apple, meanwhile, remains one of the most important customers of the Taiwanese group. Demand for iPhones and other smart consumer electronics products also contributed to growth, even though Foxconn does not provide specific unit figures.

The success in the second quarter underscores Taiwan's growing importance in the global supply chain for AI technology. Hon Hai Precision Industry is, alongside TSMC's semiconductor manufacturing, one of the key pillars of this role.

With the figures presented, Foxconn is cementing its position as the largest contract manufacturer in the electronics industry. The combination of classic consumer electronics and the booming AI infrastructure business gives the company, in its own assessment, a broad positioning – even if geopolitical risks persist.
