The British Frasers Group has increased its stake in the fashion group Hugo Boss by approximately 3.69 percentage points to just under 30.3 percent following the exercise of put options, thereby taking the next step in the voluntary public takeover offer launched in mid-June.

With the increase in the stake announced on Tuesday, Frasers is moving further toward a takeover of the Swabian fashion label. The conglomerate of British billionaire Mike Ashley had already submitted a voluntary public offer for all outstanding Hugo Boss shares in mid-June. The MDAX-listed Hugo Boss AG is rejecting the offer unanimously.
