Global spending on nuclear weapons rose to a record level last year, according to a study, while the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) is warning of a new nuclear arms race.
The nine nuclear powers together spent nearly $119 billion (103 billion euros) on their nuclear arsenals last year, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) reported on Tuesday.
