Graz, July 5, 2026
Police in Graz stopped two speeders in the night leading into Sunday, whose cars were subsequently confiscated, as the Styria State Police Directorate announced.
Two Independent Incidents
The two incidents occurred independently of each other in the urban area of Graz. One of the two men only held a probationary license. During a check, another probationary license holder was also stopped, as the authority reported.
Shortly after midnight, another probationary license holder — a 19-year-old from Kosovo — sped past the officers at least at 100 km/h. His license was also confiscated, and the young man was prohibited from continuing to drive. The measured speed was significantly above the permitted maximum speed.
