London, July 11, 2026
Before the concert of US-Cuban rapper Pitbull in London's Hyde Park, 22,141 people simultaneously wore bald caps, setting an official Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of bald cap wearers.
The Record Attempt in Detail
The event took place on July 10, 2026, as part of the British Summer Time Festival. Thousands of visitors came wearing sunglasses, white shirts, and artificial bald caps to match the rapper's signature look. According to the organizers and the Guinness jury, officials counted exactly 22,141 people simultaneously wearing such a cap.
Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez and who is 45 years old, had already announced in February that he wanted to make history with his fans. Shortly before the concert, he was presented with the Guinness certificate. Since the musician himself has a naturally bald head, he also had to put on an artificial cap for the official count to be considered a participant in the record attempt.
Pitbull's Performance and Reaction
The trend of attending Pitbull concerts dressed in his signature outfit had spread over social networks in recent years. The internet phenomenon eventually led to the application for an official world record. Guinness representative Will Munford confirmed the record on site.
