Hertha BSC hosts 1. FC Heidenheim at the Berlin Olympiastadion on Saturday, and coach Stefan Leitl, based on impressions so far, expressed confidence that his squad can match the required tempo for the fixture.
Following the loss of several key performers in the summer, Hertha BSC has slightly adjusted its tactical approach this season. Leitl pointed to the team's recent performances and set out a clear expectation for the upcoming home game. "Ich glaube, wir haben eine Mannschaft gesehen, die dieses Tempo gehen kann, und wir werden es am Samstag auch gehen," said the coach with regard to the match against Heidenheim.
The visitors from Heidenheim travel to the capital as a relegated Bundesliga side and face a difficult task. They too have changed their personnel and tactical setup, making it harder to read the fixture. For Hertha, the priority is to recapture the home strength that was a trademark last season.
