A current proprietary IMAS study shows that Austrians drink an average of 2.1 liters per day, while the self-perceived ideal amount is 2.4 liters. A quarter of the population reports not drinking enough, while 72 percent consider themselves adequately hydrated.
Austrians drink an average of 2.1 liters per day, but personally consider 2.4 liters ideal — this is shown by a proprietary IMAS study with 1,021 respondents aged 16 and over.
According to a proprietary study by the opinion research institute IMAS, Austrians consume an average of 2.1 liters of fluid per day. At the same time, the personally perceived ideal amount is 2.4 liters. This creates a gap of around 300 milliliters between actual consumption and the self-defined target, as the report on the topic of "Beverages, Drinking Routines, and Motives" shows.
