Trigger and Start of Investigation

A Graz internist is alleged to have sexually abused patients in his private practice for years and secretly filmed them naked. As a police spokesperson told APA, a request for legal assistance from abroad set the case in motion. The Styria police confirmed the corresponding investigations to APA upon inquiry.

According to Kronen Zeitung, a client of the medical practitioner noticed a mobile phone whose lens was aimed precisely at the intimate examination area. The recordings are said to date back to the year 2012. Numerous photos and videos were apparently secured on a mobile phone, as reported by "Kronen Zeitung" on Sunday. Many of the photos and videos are said to have not yet been able to be assigned.
