Around 400 people gathered on the village square in Untersiggenthal in the canton of Aargau to express their solidarity with the alleged victims of former SVP cantonal politician Patrick Frei and to call for greater victim protection and a transparent investigation of the incidents.

The vigil, organized by SP Frauen Aargau (SP Women Aargau) and supported by other groups, was directed against sexualized violence and paid tribute to the affected women. According to SRF, around 400 participants came together on the village square in the Aargau village of Untersiggenthal, including two of the alleged victims, a mother and her daughter. When the two women stepped in front of the assembly, the audience gave them long and enthusiastic applause for their courage, according to the organizers.
