Berlin, June 11, 2026
German national team player Jella Veit is moving from Eintracht Frankfurt, a club in the women's Bundesliga, to 1. FC Union Berlin for the new season.
The 21-year-old center-back did not extend her contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, which was set to expire in the summer, and is moving to the capital on a free transfer. As Eintracht Frankfurt announced, the transfer will take effect for the new season. Veit had come to Frankfurt in the summer of 2021 — five years ago — from the DFB's U20 setup and has since made 46 appearances for the club's professional team.
Veit made her debut for the senior German national team at the end of March this year, in Germany's 4-0 win over Norway. Prior to that, she had been a regular in Germany's junior national teams for many years, earning 53 caps for the German U20 side.
