Former First Lady Jill Biden has disclosed that she feared her husband, then-President Joe Biden, was suffering a stroke as she watched his calamitous performance during a televised debate against Donald Trump in June 2024.

A Moment of Alarm

In a pre-released excerpt from the CBS News program 'Sunday Morning,' Jill Biden recounted the moment of alarm. "Ich dachte, oh mein Gott, er hat einen Schlaganfall, und das hat mir eine Heidenangst eingejagt," she said, expressing the sheer terror that gripped her.

She added that she had never seen her husband in such a state before. "Ich hatte Angst, denn ich hatte Joe noch nie zuvor und auch seitdem nie wieder so gesehen," the former first lady stated, underlining the uniqueness and severity of the episode.
