A Girl as a "Little Treasure"

For actor Tom Pelphrey, it is also his second child. With the birth of the girl, he will be a "girl dad for life," as Cuoco wrote in her post. The couple already has a daughter together: Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey was born in March 2023 and is therefore three years old. She can also be seen in the announcement photos.

Cuoco and Pelphrey met in April 2022 at the premiere of the new "Ozark" season. „Kennengelernt haben sich die beiden über ihren gemeinsamen Manager", the dpa report states. Shortly thereafter, the two appeared as a couple on Instagram. In August 2024, they announced their engagement.

In the Instagram post, which consists of several pictures and short video clips, Cuoco also looks back on the past months of her pregnancy. The 40-year-old describes the second pregnancy as "a little bumpier in many ways." She was presumably alluding to stronger symptoms or a more exhausting overall course, without going into detail.

With a twinkle in her eye, the actress also commented on the last picture in the series: „Und ja, das letzte Bild ist unsere winzige Prinzessin, die uns den Mittelfinger zeigt!" It shows three-year-old Matilda, who in one of the snapshots is obviously making a cheeky gesture at the camera.

Second Child for Tom Pelphrey

Pelphrey, like Cuoco, works as an actor. In the dpa report, he is referred to as a "fellow actor." The couple first got to know each other better in spring 2022 through their shared manager, before meeting in person at a premiere party. Just a short time later, they made their first public appearance as a couple online.

With this announcement, Cuoco is once again making headlines. The actress, who became world-famous primarily for her role as Penny in the US series "The Big Bang Theory," is now also active as a producer and appears on camera for various film and series projects. The pregnancy is the second in her relationship with Pelphrey, following the birth of Matilda in spring 2023.

The couple did not reveal exactly when the baby is due. Cuoco also did not provide any information in her post about possible names or further plans surrounding the birth. One thing is clear: the little sister is on her way – and the family, in their own words, is now complete.
