Early lead for Nottingham

Liverpool needed around an hour to fight back. In the 60th minute, Alexander Isak, who had only joined the club in this transfer window, scored the equalizer for the Reds. It was his first Premier League goal in a Liverpool shirt.

But Nottingham struck back. In the 70th minute, Morgan Gibbs-White converted a penalty to make it 2:1 for the visitors. The Reds, who were still without a win after two matchdays, were under pressure.
