A major police operation cordoned off a large area around Winterthur train station on Wednesday morning following a stabbing that injured three Swiss nationals.
According to multiple Swiss media reports, the incident occurred around 9 a.m., prompting an immediate and extensive response from the cantonal police of Zurich and the Winterthur city police.
Officers established a security perimeter of approximately 100 meters around the station, restricting access to the area as the investigation began.
The three injured individuals were identified by authorities as Swiss citizens aged 28, 43, and 52. Their current medical conditions have not been disclosed.
