The British Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris receives a ten-place grid penalty at the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps because the power electronics on his McLaren are being replaced for the fourth time this season.

The reason for the sanction is another change of power electronics on the McLaren of the 26-year-old Briton. According to the rules of the premier class, a certain number of components is permitted per season; the fourth change exceeds this quota and thus triggers an automatic demotion on the starting grid. As dpa reports in an advance notice, Norris will be moved ten positions to the rear for Sunday's race (15:00, live on ServusTV) after the rules breach.
