In Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, protests against the dismissal of Digital Minister Mykhailo Fedorov by President Volodymyr Zelensky have continued for three days, with demonstrators demanding his return.

The situation in Ukraine remains tense: Since the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov by President Volodymyr Zelensky, demonstrations have been taking place in Kyiv and other cities for the third day in a row. As a journalist from the news agency AFP reported, demonstrators waved Ukrainian flags and held up placards reading "Bring back Fedorov!" and "Respect the people!"

The anger of the protesters is directed at the president's personnel policy. Fedorov was considered one of the best-known reform-oriented faces in Ukrainian politics. The 35-year-old, born in 1991 in Zaporizhzhia, is only a few months older than today's Ukraine. Since his time as head of Volodymyr Zelensky's internet election campaign in 2019, he has been regarded as a modern face of the country.
