A jogger was bitten and injured by a pitbull on Friday in the Unternberg area of the municipality of Grieskirchen in the district of Grieskirchen; according to police, the dog's owner left with the animal without helping the woman.

The woman was jogging in the Unternberg district near the Trattnach on Friday when she was attacked by the pitbull, according to the Grieskirchen police station. The bites caused injuries that required medical treatment at the Grieskirchen hospital.

After the incident, the owner of the animal left the scene without any discernible reaction, police reported. In an account circulating on social networks, the man is also described as a "Frauerl" who simply walked on while the injured woman lay on the ground.
