Car manufacturer Porsche has confirmed its annual forecast after a significantly improved first half, reporting a profit after tax of 1.07 billion euros for January to June, the company announced on Wednesday.

Profit after tax was therefore almost 49.1 percent above the figure for the first half of 2025. Operating profit also rose by roughly one-third to just under 1.35 billion euros, Porsche said in Stuttgart. Revenue at the Zuffenhausen-based company, however, declined in the first half by a good five percent to around 17.23 billion euros.
CFO Jochen Breckner said at an analyst conference: "Unser konsequentes Kostenmanagement und unsere Value-over-Volume-Strategie zeigen erste positive Effekte, deshalb bestätigen wir trotz eines weiterhin herausfordernden Marktumfelds unsere Jahresprognose." Management is therefore sticking to its annual targets despite the ongoing crisis.
