Real Madrid and FC Chelsea have reached an agreement on a transfer of Marc Cucurella, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Spanish left-back is set to move to the Spanish capital after the 2026 World Cup and fulfill a contract running until 2029 there.

Verbal agreement between all parties
According to the report, there is a fundamental agreement between all involved parties. Romano wrote: „Eine mündliche Vereinbarung zwischen allen Beteiligten wurde getroffen – der Linksverteidiger war ein Wunschspieler von Jose Mourinho." The transfer, however, is only supposed to be finalized after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, as Cucurella wants to focus fully on the Spanish national team until then.
