Following the premiere at the Salzburg Festival, guests and participants traditionally concluded the evening at Hotel Sacher in Salzburg, where co-owner Elisabeth Gürtler paid tribute to the festival society's annual meeting place.
The Salzburg Festival has been a fixture of the international music theater scene for decades, and for many guests, the reception at Hotel Sacher is just as indispensable as the performance itself. This year, the premiere led to the setting of a handbag from Paris, which played a role on stage, as well as to a place that evokes memories of trips to Reims. The connection between the Parisian accessory and the champagne city formed the framework for the production.
