Pedro Sánchez Pedro Sánchez has defended his government's crisis management in the Ceuta crisis and announced the publication of a dossier containing the reports available to the government.

In a statement, Sánchez rejected accusations that his government had not been sufficiently informed in advance. He declared that all internal assessments and reports would be made accessible to the public in order to make the executive's information situation transparently traceable.

Sánchez said verbatim: „I can assure you that none of them went any further than a description of the data or routine reporting, and that absolutely none of them predicted the probability or the scale of what ended up occurring." In doing so, he simultaneously acknowledged that the reports had not reflected the actual scale of the crisis, while contradicting accounts suggesting that specific warnings had been issued beforehand.
