A great-nephew of the Protestant theologian and Nazi resistance fighter Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Tobias Korenke, attempted to remove an arrangement from the AfD parliamentary group at the memorial site in the Bendlerblock in Berlin. According to a photographer from the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa), a scuffle ensued in which security personnel intervened. The wreath was damaged in the incident.
