Bathing waters across Schleswig-Holstein have been declared 'very good' in quality by the state's health ministry following pre-season testing of almost all 330 designated sites.

The announcement, made on Friday, confirms that swimmers can expect clean water at the state's beaches, lakes, and rivers as the summer bathing season begins. The health ministry reported that samples were taken and analyzed at more than 300 locations.

A Consistent Record of Excellence

Health Minister Kerstin von der Decken praised the results, emphasizing the value of the state's natural resources. "Die natürlichen Badegewässer an Nord- und Ostsee sowie im Binnenland gehören zu den absoluten Schätzen Schleswig-Holsteins," she said.
