Top-seeded tennis professional Ben Shelton celebrated his first tournament victory on grass in Stuttgart, winning the all-American final against defending champion Taylor Fritz 6-4, 2:6, 6:4.

The 23-year-old left-hander Ben Shelton, ranked fifth in the world, converted his first match point in Sunday's final of the ATP tournament at the Weissenhof facility and triumphed after 1 hour and 48 minutes. It was his first title on grass overall and his sixth ATP title. Shelton received prize money of 116,855 euros for the victory.
