The Munich-based industrial group Siemens has increased its profit and raised its guidance for the current fiscal year; at the same time, the new CFO Veronika Bienert stated that tax issues regarding the spin-off of Siemens Healthineers had been resolved.

Siemens generated more profit in the current fiscal year and revised its annual guidance upward. The company pointed to robust demand across several business segments and to cost savings that had a positive impact on earnings. According to group figures, revenue from components for AI data centers and automation developed particularly favorably.

Markets responded positively to the guidance raise. Investors read the message as a signal that the company remains on a growth course despite economic fluctuations and uncertain conditions in the USA. Tariff refunds, which provided additional support to earnings, also played a role.
