Defending champion Jannik Sinner reached the Wimbledon semifinal on Tuesday, Alexander Zverev advanced to the quarterfinals after a fourth-round match that was spread across two days, and Novak Djokovic defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in a match lasting more than five hours.

Defending champion Jannik Sinner advanced to the Wimbledon semifinal with a commanding performance. The 24-year-old defeated Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff in three sets, 7-5, 7-6(4), 6-3, needing 2 hours and 35 minutes. It was the Italian's first appearance since his triumph at the All England Club twelve months ago, in which he was pursuing another Grand Slam title.

Alexander Zverev's fourth-round match against the Czech Jiri Lehecka had already been suspended on Monday evening, because in Wimbledon play stops at the 11:00 p.m. local curfew. With Zverev leading two sets to love and the score at 3-3 in the third set, the match was postponed. On Tuesday, the third-seeded French Open winner prevailed in four sets overall, 6-4, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6(6), and booked his ticket to the quarterfinals.
