Background of the Accident
According to the fire brigade, the two helicopters were carrying a total of four passengers and two pilots on board. All occupants, who were confirmed as crew members, died in the accident. The fire brigade stated: "At least six fatalities have been confirmed, all were crew members."
The aircraft collided in the air over the Recreio dos Bandeirantes district and shortly afterward crashed onto the parking lot of an electric car dealership.
