Spain has won the semifinal of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Dallas 2-0 (1-0) against France and has reached a World Cup final for the first time since 2010. The goals for the defending European champions and 2010 World Cup winners were scored by Mikel Oyarzabal via penalty and Pedro Porro following a combination with Dani Olmo.

Spain defeated France 2-0 (1-0) in the World Cup semifinal in Dallas on 14 July 2026, thereby reaching a World Cup final for the first time since winning the title in 2010.

In front of 70,176 spectators at the MetLife Stadium in Arlington/Dallas, the team coached by Luis de la Fuente clearly decided the match in their favour on France's national holiday. The 1-0 halftime scoreline came from a penalty kick that Mikel Oyarzabal confidently converted in the 22nd minute. Referee Iván Barton from El Salvador had previously awarded the penalty after Lucas Digne had brought down Spanish teenage star Lamine Yamal in the box.
