The weather in Germany is showing its summery side in the new week. As the German Weather Service reports, the sun is shining widely in the west and south, while it remains cloudy in the rest of the country. "In the west and south sunny and dry," the forecast states.

In the north and northeast, the day begins with cumulus clouds. During the course of the day, isolated showers or thunderstorms may develop from these. "In the north and northeast initially cumulus clouds, later isolated showers or thunderstorms," the meteorologists said. In the south, too, isolated, in some cases heavy thunderstorms are possible as the day progresses.
