According to the stadium, there was therefore no longer any acute weather danger.

Clear rules of conduct applied until the interior was reopened: „Bis dahin gilt: Unter dem Dach und in den Umläufen ist der Aufenthalt am sichersten", so Meyer. He also announced a specific procedure: „Der Veranstaltungsleiter wird das Signal geben, wann der Innenraum wieder befüllt werden kann." Until then, fans had to wait it out in the covered areas.

Long lines formed in front of the entrances during the clearing, with those waiting staring at their phones. The image underscored how last-minute the interruption came: anyone who had just been heading to their seat in the interior had to go back to the concourses and wait for the signal to reopen.
