London police temporarily arrested British far-right activist Tommy Robinson at Heathrow Airport after he returned to the United Kingdom from Russia; he was questioned under anti-terrorism laws and subsequently released.

London police confirmed on Sunday the arrest of a man at Heathrow Airport who had returned to the United Kingdom from Russia. As the authorities informed the BBC, the man was questioned under British anti-terrorism laws. In addition, his electronic communication devices were seized. "Danach sei er auf freien Fuß gesetzt worden," the police told the BBC.

According to his own statements, the person arrested is Tommy Robinson, a well-known British far-right activist. Robinson said he had been "fast drei Stunden lang festgehalten worden." The temporary arrest at Heathrow Airport took place over the weekend after he returned from a trip to Russia. Police confirmed the incident without naming him in the initial statement.
