Victim protection is also dealing with the case. Victim assistance organizations provided psychological and legal support for the child concerned. Child protection organizations simultaneously called for a fundamental review of access rules for children in media productions.

According to reports, a hearing date at the Regional Court has so far been scheduled for 22 February; further dates are to follow. The defense and the public prosecutor's office are preparing extensive applications for evidence. Observers expect the trial to last several weeks.
