US President Donald Trump has rejected allegations that his administration is responsible for the recent outages of the Starlink satellite internet service in Ukraine.

Trump's Statements at the White House

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the United States bore no blame for the disruptions, which had affected the operation of drones and communications of Ukrainian units. He pointed out that the system is operated by a private company and that the government does not have direct access to it.

According to consistent reports from multiple sources, Ukraine is heavily dependent on Starlink and the successor system Starshield. Both services are used for frontline communications, logistics tasks in occupied territories, as well as medium-range drone strikes against Russian positions and interceptor drones against Russian long-range drones.
