The US military has attacked two bridges in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan, according to Iranian media reports, killing two people and injuring four others.
According to Iranian media reports, the US military has attacked two bridges in southern Iran. Affected were the Kahurestan and Gariveh bridges on the transport axes of Hormozgan Province, as well as a second connection in the region, according to the Fars news agency, citing the provincial administration.
The pro-government channel Press TV reported that a total of three bridges were hit in the attacks. Two people were killed and four others injured in the attack. No further details were given on the exact damage to the structures.

The Kahurestan Bridge lies on the route connecting the port city of Bandar Abbas with the city of Shiraz further to the northwest. According to the "New York Times," it is considered an important route between the coast of the Persian Gulf and the southern interior of Iran. The roads between the port city of Bandar Abbas and the cities of Khamir and Lar have been completely closed.
