The Berlin Administrative Court has prohibited Minister of State for Culture Wolfram Weimer in summary proceedings from calling the operators of the bookstore "Zur schwankenden Weltkugel" "political extremists" after the non-partisan minister let the deadline for an appeal expire, making the decision legally binding.
Summary Proceedings and Legal Finality
Minister of State for Culture Wolfram Weimer is temporarily no longer permitted to call the operators of the Berlin bookstore "Zur schwankenden Weltkugel" "political extremists." The Berlin Administrative Court had already prohibited him from doing so at the end of April in summary proceedings. Because Weimer did not file an appeal within the two-week period, the decision is now legally binding.
