Willingen, June 04, 2026
The singer Wincent Weiss (33) has cancelled an open-air concert planned for August 14 in Willingen in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district of Hesse because, according to the organizer, too few tickets were sold.
The organizer Schröder Event announced on its homepage that the concert would be "cancelled without replacement." The company cited the following reason: "Ticket sales are not sufficient to put the production on a financially stable footing." This means that a performance in the popular North Hessian open-air stage region will be cancelled without replacement for the summer.
Weiss himself reacted with concern. He addressed his fans directly via his Instagram stories and explained: "This really hurts me. It breaks my heart a little, I have to say honestly." He described it as "totally absurd" that his shows in some cities – including Dresden – were already sold out, while sales in other places were barely picking up.
