From May 21-25, 2026, Saxony will host a wide range of Pentecost events including music festivals, art exhibitions, and family-friendly activities across the region.

What's New Since May 2026
The German Mill Day will see participation from 90 Saxon mills, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and hosting family activities. Meanwhile, the kunst:offen initiative features over 155 artists opening their studios across Saxony.
Music lovers can choose between the punk-heavy Pfingstsause, the classical Kreuzchor open-air concert, or the techno-focused Ich & Du Open Air. Ticket prices range from free entry to €39 for premium events.
Families have numerous options including the Hirschfelder Pfingstfest with pony rides and face painting, the Wildpark Osterzgebirge festival with chainsaw art demonstrations, and costume tours at various castles.
