Kitzbühel, July 10, 2026
In Kitzbühel, the qualification rounds on Sunday mark the start of the first international women's tennis tournament in more than 30 years — a WTA-125 Challenger — with Julia Grabher, Tatjana Maria, and Veronika Erjavec expected to compete, among others.
The return of women's tennis to the Tyrolean winter sports resort marks a turning point in the tournament history of the region. More than three decades after the last international women's competition in Kitzbühel, the facility is now hosting a WTA-125 Challenger, the lowest category within the WTA tournaments, but an official part of the global women's tennis series.
