A driver, only 17 years old, came into the control and exceeded the permitted maximum speed of 100 km/h by 58 km/h, according to officers. The measured speed of 158 km/h was documented by laser measurement.
The teenager was travelling in a car in the section located in the municipality of Straßham in the district of Eferding. After the stop, the officers immediately confiscated the 17-year-old's driver's license and seized the vehicle. As a result, the young man is initially no longer permitted to drive a motor vehicle in public road traffic.
